Pinball Publishing

In 2002, Austin Whipple and I embarked on a big adventure by filling a storefront on SE Clinton Street in Portland, Oregon with letterpress equipment, lead type, silkscreen gear, and our hearts and souls. We grew into adults while growing a publishing and print business that focused on our love for good content, bold design, caring about the details, deepening connections, having fun, staying up late, and starting early. We printed hundreds of orders of business cards, posters, books, brochures, letterhead, music packaging, and more. Along the way, we realized that not only did we love design and print, we also loved being entrepreneurs in the Pacific Northwest. We outgrew the storefront, and moved into our iconic yellow buildings, and overtime, our business evolved into two distinctive product lines, and Pinball Publishing has now moved out of the limelight to be a "parent company" to Scout Books and Outpost Sign Co.
